Scott Carmel is the Founder of Calvary Street Investments, which provides growth capital and advisory services to early stage companies. Prior to founding Calvary Street, Scott led Southside Capital, which specialized in managing long/short equity portfolios focused on the financial services sector. He has also worked as a Portfolio Manager with an investment focus on the financial services industry at Hutchin Hill Capital and Citadel, among other investment roles.

Scott earned a BS in Finance, Information Systems from New York University.

He is originally from Waltham, Massachusetts. Scott and his wife, Marissa, live with their two children in Miami, Florida.
